With the pandemic, many people will not be able to celebrate Chinese New Year with their families this year. We are in the same position too! Last year, we organised a non-profit Chinese New Year party for our community in Haarlem, bringing more than 80 people from different parts of the world under one roof! This year a party would not have been possible due to Covid 19.

We would like to give everyone some extra cheer during this festive period by offering free online Mandarin playgroup sessions via Zoom for children age 2-5! For 30 minutes, we will read a book about Chinese New Year, play games with flashcards, sing a Chinese New Year song and make a beautiful blossom painting together in Mandarin!

Mandarin Tree doesn’t provide free trial classes for playgroups. If you’re curious to know whether your child would enjoy online Chinese lessons with Mandarin Tree, this is a great opportunity to try it out!

The celebration is FREE for everyone who registers, but unfortunately, limited spaces are available.

Be sure to register your children as soon as possible! You can register up to 3 siblings to share one place in our event. One week before the event, you will receive an email with printable materials (CNY flashcards and craft) and zoom login details.
